MONILINK™ is the UK's mobile banking and payments network, providing customers with access to financial information and payments functionality directly from their mobile handsets. MONILINK™ was formed in 2004 by Monitise plc in partnership with VocaLink, the operator of the UK's payments network, with the vision of creating a 'remote control' to money for the consumer. The service launched in 2006 and is currently available to customers of Lloyds TSB, HSBC, first direct, Royal Bank of Scotland, NatWest, Alliance & Leicester and Ulster Bank as well as all major UK network operators.
