Technical Overview

ACCODE™ offers an easy to integrate 2FA solution which utilizes the convenience and widespread use of mobile phones, BlackBerrys, laptops, and desktop PCs. It uses industry standard technologies such as RADIUS, VPNs and Web Servers, thus minimising the need for additional hardware. It readily integrates into a company's existing LDAP and Active Directory infrastructures obviating the need for excessive user administration. Users can also be divided into groups and sub-groups to allow various levels of access to be allocated.

The ACCODE solution is network and mobile phone manufacturer agnostic. It works on almost all mobile handsets across all the mobile phone networks.

Users' mobile phones are provisioned by the System Administrator using the intuitive Admin Console where users can be added and removed from the service in minutes. The solution is highly scalable from hundreds to hundreds of thousands of users.

The provisioning process downloads a small application to the user's handset or PC and once installed the user can generate a One-Time Passcode (OTP) which is valid for one minute. A unique differentiator between ACCODE and other products is that ACCODE can generate OTPs even when no network coverage is available, without losing synchronisation.

Also, if a user loses or forgets their mobile phone the System Administrator can generate and provide them with a temporary passcode for that session.

The security of ACCODE has been externally reviewed and approved, and a variety of support models are available depending on the customer's needs.
